Groups & Activities

Archery- . Times vary as the daylight changes. Some loaner equipment available, but please bring whatever equipment you have. Held at Lady Zorya's home; for more information contact Lady Zorya.

Armorer's Guild- Our purpose is to "Research and recreate the manner in which period armour was made, as well as to provide functional armour for combat activities in the SCA." Hosted by Sir Jean Paul & Lady Gilyan. Directions from Tulsa and from OKC.

Chivalric Combat -

  • Sunday 5p.m. at Boomer Lake, west side pavilion #4. Directions from Tulsa and from OKC.
  • Thursday at 7:30p.m. in the same little field that Rapier meets in. It's behind the university laundromat, which is on McElroy. Pull in behind it and we're parked in the lot that jogs off at a peculiar angle. Here's an overhead view. Also, directions from Tulsa and from OKC.

Bardic Practice and Singalong- Bardic Guild - Sing-Along Bardic practice will be the 3rd Wednesday of the month for the forseeable future. Meetings will be held at Liliana's apartment at 7:30pm. For bardic questions, please contact Lillias.

Brewer's Guild meets when the mood strikes them and the bottles are ready. For more information contact Master Oxlade.

Lion Dragon Guard Practice- is the last Sunday Chivalric Combat Practice of each month. Occasionally this date will be moved, and notice will be given on the list, and at populace meeting, if possible. At LDGP, we practice mass combat techniques. There is some work on general mass combat principles, especially if there are new fighters present, but the focus is on the massed scutum tactics used by the Liondaragon Guard. If you love the scutum, it would be a shame to miss it. For more information contact the Guard Captain Lord Ollj.

Merry Musicians- Variable Thursdays 7:30p.m. Hosted by Lord Reis and Honorable Lady Emma. We play instrumental music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. For information contact Baroness Rhiannon.

Scroll Painting Scrollpainting will be held on the first Wednesday of the month at the OSU Edmon Low Library at 7:30pm. We will work on painting award scrolls for the kingdom. Anyone who is interested can learn how at the meeting. Materials will be provided for anyone who doesn't own any. Those interested should contact Lady Lilas.
